They are designed for injection of fuel under high pressure (300...400 kg/cm2) through injectors into the cylinders of a diesel engine with dosing the value of cycle fuel supply depending on the load and engine crankshaft speed. The in-line fuel pump is combined in one unit with a low-pressure fuel supply pump and a mechanical all-mode regulator.
