The caterpillar snowmobiler TTM 5906 is a floating vehicle of high cross-country ability intended for transportation of various cargoes weighing up to 6 tonnes, towing trailers weighing up to 5, 5 tonnes and other transport and technological works mainly in the regions of the North, Siberia and the Far East. The TTM 5906 snowmobiler is designed for operation (in garage-free storage) in off-road conditions, including snow virgin land, loose sands and swamps of all types with overcoming water obstacles afloat, water jet propulsion is allowed. The snowmobile TTM 5906 is manufactured in climatic version U1 according to GOST 15150 for operation at ambient air temperature from minus 45C to plus 40C in areas with difficult cross-country terrain and in mountainous terrain in areas located at an altitude of up to 3000 m above sea level, with a corresponding change in traction and dynamic qualities. The TTM 5906PO modification is designed for extinguishing forest fires and other fires
