Generator synchronous traction type GSN 500/8 is designed for power supply of traction electric motors of BelAZ dump truck. Type of climatic execution according to GOST 15150. In the conventional designation of the generator the letters and digits denote: GS - synchronous generator; H - version by degree of protection and cooling method; 500 - dimension according to the USCD classifier; 8 - number of poles; A - modification by constructive execution; UHL2, T2 - type of climatic execution and placement category.
