GPS-1 Signal Search Generator for Locating Miners in Emergencies

Generator search signal GPS-1 is designed to generate an alternating magnetic field used to search for miners in the rubble. GPS-1 is located inside mine head lamps of various modifications together with radio unit SUBR-02SM. GPS-1 can be used together with the locating receiver when solving the task of searching for people in the rubble.GPS-1 is manufactured in eight versions, differing in the frequency of the emitted signal.In the standby mode, the control device analyses the signals coming through the control line of the luminaire.

When receiving a start signal from the radio unit, the control device switches on the generator, which generates an alternating magnetic field of a certain frequency. At this time it can be detected by the locating receiver. After a predetermined time, the control unit switches off the generator and enters standby mode.
