Gas-Oxygen Cutting Device for Oval Holes, GAKS-R-42 - Ideal for Pipeline Applications

The device for gas-oxygen hole cutting of GAKS-R-42 (Oval) type is designed for cutting oval-shaped technological holes in pipes of gas main pipelines during fire works, as well as cutting patches for these holes. It performs cutting without bevelling and with bevelling for welding. The flammable gas used is propane/butane.

The type of drive is manual. The device consists of a copier with four supports. The copier is fixed to the steel pipe by means of clamps with magnetic clamping blocks.

The torch is rotated relative to the pipe surface by means of a trolley according to a set template. Thanks to the use of a single template, the hole cutter ensures that the edges of the hole and the patch are aligned. The hole-cutting device is completed with a machine cutter "Kord" RM3-220G.
