a) organising authorised entry to and exit from protected areas and premises by identifying a person by a combination of various attributes;
b) preventing unauthorised access to protected areas and premises.
In the turnstile, personal identification is performed using:
- access card;
- mass measurement.
Depending on the additional equipment installed in the turnstile, personal identification is performed with the use of:
- individual pin code;
- biometric parameters (face image).
The turnstile is a controlled barrier device and provides:
- complete closing of the passage aperture;
- automatic and manual (in emergency situations) unblocking of the rotor;
- protection against simultaneous passage of two or more persons;
- blocking of the intruder inside the turnstile (if necessary).
