Turnstile is a part of ACS and is designed for: a) organising authorised entry to and exit from protected areas and premises by identifying a person by a combination of various attributes; b) preventing unauthorised access to protected areas and premises. In the turnstile, personal identification is performed using: <ul> <li>- access card;</li> <li>mass measurement.</li> </ul>Depending on the additional equipment installed in the turnstile, personal identification is performed with the use of: <ul> <li>- individual pin code;</li> <li>biometric parameters (face image).</li> </ul>The turnstile is a controlled barrier device and provides: <ul> <li>- complete closing of the passage aperture;</li> <li>automatic and manual (in emergency situations) unblocking of the rotor;</li> <li>protection against simultaneous passage of two or more persons;</li> <li>blocking of the intruder inside the turnstile (if necessary).</li> </ul>
