Brake shoes are designed for railway freight wagons. It is made by the method of pressing composite material TIIR -300 (8-1 -66) onto metal stamped frame.
Pads are used to ensure the necessary braking efficiency of braking corners of railway freight wagons with maximum allowable temperature on the friction surface of the pad at short-term exposure up to + 500 degrees, maximum allowable bulk temperature at long-term exposure up to + 300 degrees, maximum allowable sliding speed up to 45 m/s (160 km/h). Brinell hardness (HB 16/187.5/30) from 1.4 - 3.0.
Steel friction coefficient (grade 2 steel) 0.34-0.54. Compressive strength MPa - not less than 15.
