The Respirator is designed for use as a means of personal respiratory protection (PPE) of a person in conditions of presence of harmful aerosols in the air of the working zone: indoors, underground workings and outdoors, in areas of controlled access, at nuclear power facilities (NPF). It is used by workers of radiation and chemically hazardous facilities, nuclear industry, mining, chemical and metallurgical industries, shipbuilding and cement plants, when working with fine aerosols in other industries. Respirator is a multilayer flat disc covering the nose, mouth and chin of the user, consisting of a high-efficiency filtering material in a gauze shell, plastic spacer, headband bands of natural material, nose clip of aluminium plate and a special cord. Protection factor of such respirators against radioactive substances: not less than 20.
