Analysers of ethanol vapour concentration in exhaled air AKPE-01-"Meta" (hereinafter - analysers) are designed for express measurement of mass concentration of ethanol vapour in a selected sample of exhaled air.
The principle of operation of the analysers is infrared optical-absorption based on measurement of infrared radiation absorption by ethanol vapours in a certain band of the spectrum selected by an interference filter (at a wavelength of 3.4 microns).
The analysers are automatic, cyclic instruments.
Measurement results and accompanying messages are displayed on the analysers' display. At the same time, the measurement results can be printed out on a printer in the form of a hard copy measurement report with the current date, time, analyser serial number and date of verification. The analysers have sound and light alarms informing about the stages of air sample preparation and collection
