Endodontic Root Canal Expansion Gel "EDETAL" for Effective Canal Preparation

Indications for use: decalcification of the walls, identification of the mouth and preparation for filling of hard-to-reach root canals of teeth. Root canal enlargement gel "EDETAL" is presented as a neutral substance intended for lubrication of endodontic instrument and facilitation of its passage into hard-to-access root canals. When the drug is combined with mineral components of dental tissue, a loose structure is formed, which is not able to provide sufficient resistance to mechanical action. When using the gel in combination with sodium hypochlorite, conditions for the most effective cleaning of the canal are created: EDTA salt decalcifies its walls, NaOCl dissolves residues of organic origin, and the resulting foam facilitates cleaning from dentin chips. The gel is non-toxic, easy to use, does not cause ulceration of periapical tissues and is not caustic. Thanks to it the mechanical enlargement of even the narrowest root canals is realised.
