Coronary stent with Sirolimus drug-coated Yukon Chrome PC is designed for permanent placement in the lumen of stenosed coronary arteries or aortocoronary shunts to ensure their patency after acute or subacute occlusion. The Yukon Chrome PC stent with Sirolimus drug-coated stent is indicated for coronary artery lumen expansion and restenosis reduction, as well as for the treatment of coronary artery lesions with a proper diameter of 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm.
Its use is also indicated for restenosis or arterial dissection after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). The material of the stent is cobalt-chromium alloy (L605).
Manufacturing by laser cutting of a seamless tube along the tortuous contour with subsequent coating with a composition of biodegradable polymer and Sirolimus.Microporous surface of the stent promotes better endothelialisation, which is important to prevent thrombosis and restenosis.
