Description
The device is designed to determine the quality and grade of flour at enterprises of flour-milling and baking industry by measuring the reflection coefficient and indicators of whiteness of flour in separate areas, highlighted by a coloured light filter. The peculiarity of this device is the possibility of using interchangeable modules with different light filters, allowing on a single unified basis to measure the whiteness index not only of flour, but also of sugar, chalk, starch, paper, etc., provided that the metrological support is developed.
The method of determining whiteness is established by GOST 26361-84, which applies to baking wheat and rye flour.
