Diesel Generator 18-9DGM - Reliable Power for Locomotive Applications

Diesel-generator 18-9DGM is designed for use as part of the power plant of diesel locomotives 3TE28. Diesel generator 18-9DGM consists of diesel engine type 16ChN26/26 and traction synchronous unit AT2C-2800/400X, connected by elastic coupling. The traction unit includes traction and auxiliary synchronous generators, assembled in one housing with one bearing unit, with a flange of the rotor shaft on the side opposite to the slip rings for connection to the crankshaft of the diesel engine.
