Crawler Crane DEK-254 for Reliable Heavy Lifting and Construction

DEK cranes on the crawler system with 190 mm pitch chain and 700 mm track width are characterised by a studied design, ease of operation and reliability. When designing the models of the unified line the specialists of JSC "Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant" took into account all the wishes of consumers. The manufacturer has provided frequency control of all working operations (this option provides independent combination of four operations (two for DEK-363)) and proportional speed control (from 10 to 100%). The cranes have an improved design: the increased width of the support contour allows for better realisation of turns, compact planetary gearboxes of the actuators ensure low loads on the supports. The cranes DEK-254, 324, 364 are powered by an in-built diesel generator set with a capacity of 100 kW.
