Description

The traction inverter container (TIC) is a part of the electrical equipment set of asynchronous traction drive of metro cars KATP-4.The TIC is used on metro cars and is designed to convert DC energy into three-phase alternating current. As a source of DC power supply for KTI the contact network of the underground is used, KTI load is asynchronous motors to which three-phase sinusoidal current of variable frequency is supplied.
