The contact device SETR.104.00.00.000 "ASTRA" (Receiving system "ASTRA") is designed for docking the electric bus current collector with the charging station. It performs the following key functions:Compensation of vehicle positioning inaccuracy (electric bus) due to standardised shape (SAE J3105-2) catches the moving contact head of the current charger (electric bus pantograph).Transmission of current from the charging station to the traction batteries of the vehicle (electric bus). Provides information exchange between the charging station and the vehicle (electric bus).
