Condensate Pump KcD 230-115 for Efficient Turbine and Heater Applications

Condensate pumps of KsD 230-115 type and electric pump units on their basis are designed for pumping the main condensate of turbines, condensate of heating steam of network heaters and condensate of steam-water heaters of thermal power plants operating on organic fuel, as well as for pumping liquids similar to condensate in viscosity and chemical activity. The pump is centrifugal, horizontal, 3-stage, with semi-helical inlet, helical outlet. The impeller of the first stage is double-sided, the second and third stages are single-sided.

Pump casing is cast iron with horizontal split. The connections are located at the bottom of the casing and are directed: inlet vertically downwards, discharge horizontally, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pump. The pump shaft seal is of the gland type.

Face type seals may be used. FEATURES/ADVANTAGES: Low value of permissible cavitation margin.
