Description

Fibreglass fibreglass gear cover is designed to replace the metal cover in the locomotive wheel and engine block. The cover is made of polymer composite materials, providing the necessary strength of the structure, tightness during the overhaul life of the locomotive, resistant to the oils used for lubrication of the gear. The outer surfaces of the casing are protected from corrosion by a paint coating resistant to the effects of detergents during mechanised washing of the locomotive.
