Description
Surgical instrument for accurately measuring the depth of a drilled hole or other narrow straight channel. Usually consists of a sliding stylus in the middle, inserted into a recess, and a scale on which to read the depth when the stylus reaches the bottom. Most commonly used to check the depth of holes drilled into bone tissue with a surgical drill in order to select the correct length of surgical screws.
It is made of corrosion-resistant materials (e.g. stainless steel or titanium). A reusable product.
