Cadmium Sulfide Powder for Photoresistors – Ch Qualification and Applications

Cadmium sulphide qualification h is produced according to TU 24.45.30-091-48591565-2021. It is a powder from orange to lemon-yellow colour. It is used for production of photoresistors (devices, electrical resistance of which changes depending on illumination).

Cadmium sulphide is used as a phosphor (also mixed with zinc sulphide and other impurities). Cadmium sulphide single crystals are used to make scintillators for registration of elementary particles and gamma radiation. The product is packed according to GOST 3885 in double bags-insert film bags according to GOST 19360 or in double bags according to GOST 12302 or in double bags enclosed in three-layer paper bags, net weight not more than 50 kg.
