Axial Flow Control Valves for Regulating Fluid Flow in Pipelines
Bulk pricing available
FOB, CIF & EXW terms available
Description
The design of valves of axial type provides maximum straightened, symmetrical with respect to the axis of the pipeline, the flow of the medium, eliminating vortex flows and abrupt changes in the direction of flow. This in turn significantly reduces head losses, noise, turbulence and erosion caused by media containing abrasives. The axisymmetric design provides a higher flow capacity than conventional valves at the same nominal diameters. Axial type valves are operable and provide practically the same hydraulic resistance when the medium flows in either direction. They comply with the requirements of Transneft OTT.
