Autonomous marking point ATO-N-TP/U (hereinafter referred to as ATO) is a radiating device with no external wire connections and is intended for identification of a mining operation, in which the appearance of a vehicle is controlled, is a version of ATO-N-TP with increased output power to increase the range with the subscriber. ATO is used as a registration point of the BOT when constructing a travelling route, counting the number of performed trips and other tasks of transport movement accounting.
SDO positioning is performed by measuring the distance from RTLS reader to ATO via radio channel at certain moments of time. The measurement procedure consists of an on-air request from the ATU and a response from the reader.
In case of successful measurement the reader receives the distance to the ATU. The ATU is a sealed non-disassembling device with autonomous battery power supply and has the following interfaces: RTLS radio, BLE radio (for firmware update), NFC (for configuration).
