Autonomous marking point ATO-N-TP is an emitting device with no external wire connections and is designed to identify the mine workings, in which the appearance of a vehicle is controlled. ATO is used as a registration point of the BOT when constructing a travelling route, counting the number of performed trips and other tasks of transport movement accounting.
SDRS positioning is performed by measuring the distance from the RTLS reader to the ATU via radio channel at certain moments of time. The measurement procedure consists of an over-the-air request from the ATO and a response from the reader.
In case of a successful measurement, the reader receives the distance to the ATU. The ATU is a sealed non-disassembling device with autonomous battery power supply and has the following interfaces: RTLS radio, BLE radio (for firmware update), NFC (for configuration).
