Autonomous electrostimulators of the gastrointestinal tract are designed for isolated electrostimulation of the stomach, duodenum, duct system of the liver and pancreas, large and small intestines, rectum when their motor and evacuatory activity is disturbed.

  Pulses of certain energy, duration and frequency produced by the generator affect the mucous membrane of the stomach or intestine, causing a response in the form of a peristaltic wave, which propels the stimulant into the distal parts of the GI tract, gradually restoring the activity of the digestive tract.
