Description
UATGV automated unit (A) thermal (T) gas-phase (G) vacuum (V). It is designed for thermochemical treatment of matrices made of composite materials (thick-walled porous blanks) by silicification and pyrocarbon saturation in special tooling. It is a vertical vessel (diameter up to 500 mm, height up to 1500 mm) with water-cooled walls and current leads. It is completed with thyristor converter and automatic control system.
