ASI Backup Switch for Transport Streams - PAC-4212 for Reliable Data Management

Designed for switching ASI transport streams (MPEG, T2-MI) received over the main and reserve lines. Each standby switch contains two independent switches. Switching is performed in both manual and automatic modes in case of errors in the main channel and their absence in the backup channel.

In automatic mode the quality parameters of input signals are evaluated according to ESI TR101-290 level 1. PAC-4212 switch has only one switching mode without equalisation of input streams and switching of both synchronous and non-synchronous (non-identical) signals. The switch is controlled from the local panel or remotely via Ethernet - via WEB-interface or SNMP commands.

Switching by GPI commands is possible. Built-in real-time clock with NTP support. Logger.

Relay bypass on the first input in case of power failure. Main and backup power supplies with separate inputs of mains power supply (~220V). "Hot" replacement of power supplies.
