The device "EndoEst-Apex 02(C)" is designed for localisation of apical narrowing of the canal during endodontic treatment. The device localises the apical narrowing of the canal (apex) by measuring the complex electrical resistance between two electrodes.
One of the electrodes is a metal hook (mouthpiece) placed on the patient's lip, and the other electrode (probe) is connected to the metal part of the endodontic instrument (file) inserted into the root canal of the tooth under study.
