Filtering half-mask of first performance class (FFP1) with an exhalation valve having a polyisoprene membrane which is attached to the top of the valve body and opens from below, directing exhaled air only downwards and sideways through special slots in the exhalation valve cover. The half-mask has a two-panel construction with a horizontal thermal seam between the upper and lower panels and lugs protruding from the sides for positioning the half-mask on the user's face.
