Systems of vibroacoustic monitoring TOPAZ SVAM are produced according to technical specifications TU 26.51.53-024-89466010-2019.
Intelligent vibroacoustic monitoring systems (SVAM) is a new generation of security systems for monitoring of long objects and protection of perimeters of especially important structures. Information is read along the entire length of the fibre optic cable using distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) technology.
The systems measure time-synchronised acoustic amplitude, phase and frequency along each position of the cable, using it as an acoustic antenna. This allows TOPAZ SVAM to offer capabilities not available to other distributed monitoring systems, namely: event localisation (locating the disturbance not only directly along the cable, but also several tens of metres away from it), acoustic tomography, intrusion detection.
