Transport detector detects any mechanical vehicles in the controlled areas, and also calculates: traffic intensity, composition of vehicles, average speed of vehicles, average number of vehicles in traffic, the average number of vehicles in traffic, coming to one kilometre of lane (traffic density), road capacity, the average delay of vehicles in traffic on the road section, time index, level of traffic service, congestion index, buffer index. The detectors are designed to work in stationary mode 24 hours 7 days a week; they are placed permanently on posts, supports and other structures.
