The module of communication with point pressure/temperature sensor, installed in any of the expansion slots of the surface communication module, is designed to provide communication with one or more temperature and pressure sensors placed in the well. Key features include an elaborate power supply circuitry and system address assignment system that allows for quick module replacement without disconnecting the surface communication module, while a sensor terminal connector on the front panel of the module simplifies commissioning.
In addition, the compact size allows for easy transport and convenient storage of the communication modules. The sensor communication module is connected to the sensor by means of surface and immersion cables.
