Pneumatic conveying units are a set of devices that provide movement of bulk materials (dusty, powdery, granular, crushed, etc.) with the help of compressed air or discharged gas. When the size of granules of the transported material is up to 10 mm, pneumatic conveying is preferable to other transport systems in almost all cases.
Pneumatic conveying is widely used for moving bulk materials due to their significant productivity and large radius of action in the tightest production conditions, i.e. using areas unsuitable for other methods of transport, saving production area, complete absence of residues and losses of the transported product in the lines, high sanitary and hygienic conditions of its transportation, the exclusion of violations of technological and hygienic regimes of the air environment in the production facilities.
