The integrated winch allows the victim to be lifted in order to loosen the cushioning and shock-absorbing system that stops the victim from falling. To facilitate this operation, the device is equipped with a folding handle, an adapter for using a screwdriver, and a manual rope locking mechanism to prevent unintentional descent.
A cordless screwdriver or drill can be used as the drive. The design of the device allows several repeated descents when it is necessary to evacuate several people in a row.
