The principle of operation of the gauges is based on the measurement of the liquid volume. When measuring the volume of liquid, the medium is fed into the pre-wetted measuring cup through the neck (top-fill measuring cups) or through the filler tap of the bottom spigot (bottom-fill measuring cups).
