Laser technological complex LK-8V is designed for implementation of cladding technology processes using laser radiation and welding wire as filler material, by feeding the wire and laser radiation to one point with subsequent movement of this point according to a given programme. In cases when high productivity is required (height of the clad layer), as well as when processing massive parts, the unit allows cladding in hybrid laser-arc mode.
The cladding operation is carried out in a protective gas environment (argon). The machine performs the process according to a pre-determined control programme in fully automatic mode.
In cases when the cladding technology requires preheating of the workpiece, thanks to the presence of a heated work table, it is possible to maintain the temperature of the preheated workpiece or to heat the workpiece directly on the table.
