The set of equipment allows performing at least 32 experiments devoted to such phenomena as rectilinear propagation of light; shadow and penumbra formation; specular reflection of light; diffuse reflection of light; dependence of the focal length of the lens on the refractive index of the external medium; connection of the distance from the object to the lens with the distance from the lens to its reflection; spherical aberration; chromatic aberration; action of the optical system of the eye; passage of light through a plane-parallel plate.
