ERU must comply with the requirements of these specifications and design documentation approved in the prescribed manner. Component apparatuses, instruments and devices shall comply with the design documentation and be approved by the Russian Classification Society and/or Russian Maritime Register of Shipping type.

The doors of switchgear enclosures must be fixed in the open position. The doors of the switchgear enclosures shall be earthed with a flexible jumper.
