The combined cable design, consisting of copper conductors and optical fibre, is designed for simultaneous transmission of digital signal and power supply for remote objects.
Opto-electric cables are used for:
- Suspension, horizontal and vertical laying in video surveillance systems,
- Signalling and communication systems,
- For power supply of remote devices of small and medium power,
- Simultaneous transmission of information over single-mode optical fibres.
High resistance to destructive factors and unauthorised influences due to double insulation of optical module and electrical cores. Additional protection of all construction elements is provided by a common inner sheath.
