Vega MT-5 monitoring unit is designed to monitor vehicles using GLONASS/GPS positioning system, including the location of the vehicle, speed and direction of its movement, as well as for the transmission of accumulated data via GSM communication network. The principle of operation of the unit is based on the use of built-in navigation equipment to determine the location by GNSS signals, as well as on the use of built-in GSM modem for the transmission of accumulated data.
