Pilorama disc angled rotary series "TRIUMF 1P" is designed for longitudinal sawing of logs in order to obtain saw products in the form of beams, trimmed boards, bars, veneer.The machine is a gantry on which the saw carriage is installed. The gantry moves on rails along the fixed workpiece. The saw unit mounted on the carriage has the possibility of horizontal and vertical (together with the carriage) movement relative to the workpiece.
The disc saw makes successive cuts in mutually perpendicular planes. The saw unit is rotated to an angle of 90 by means of an electrically driven chain drive. The logs do not need to be rolled or re-braced during sawing.
Feeding of the sawmill along the workpiece is carried out manually by the operator, or with the help of the feed drive in semi-automatic mode.
