The information system for the hearing impaired stationary "ISTOK" (hereinafter referred to as information system, device) is designed to provide accessibility to audio information to all population groups by transmitting audio information to persons with impaired hearing function using hearing aids in the mode of induction coil "T".
The information system converts an acoustic signal (speech, music) or an electrical audio signal (signal from any sound-producing devices) into an electromagnetic signal, which is received by the telecoil of the hearing aid. The main functional blocks of the device are the loop amplifier, to the inputs of which audio devices - signal sources - are connected, and the induction loop, which is connected to the output of the loop amplifier and placed along the perimeter of the room. The area of the sounded room can be from 150 m2 to 400 m2.
