The source of seismic signals SVS-30-M1 is designed for excitation of longitudinal seismic waves in geological medium by mechanical vibration impact on the ground surface. The application area of the source is seismic exploration of oil and gas fields, mainly in northern regions in off-road, snowy virgin and swampy terrain.
The source is mounted on a self-propelled snowmobile chassis with hydrostatic drive. The chassis is tracked on rubber-metal tracks and has high cross-country ability in hard-to-reach places.
