SLRS is designed for launching life rafts on a ship. Design - for LB with forward position of containers with rafts relative to the SPU. Type of drive (turning, lowering, lifting) - manual, gearbox - closed, with splash lubrication. Operating temperature - from minus 35 degrees centigrade to plus 35 degrees centigrade. C to plus 35 deg. C. Weight of the SPU - 1700 kg. Outreach - 3.5m.
SWL - 2.3 tonnes. Max. lifting load - 2 kN. Working angle of rotation - 90 deg. from the DP to the position of the boom "fully outboard". The rope is non-twisting corrosion-resistant with breaking strength not less than 6xSWL. Walking distance of the hook - 20 metres. Control - local (from the deck), remote only descent (from the raft).
Speed of gravity descent - 45-55 m/min. Min. speed of lifting of the lifting tack - 24 m/min. Operating conditions - roll of the vessel - 20 deg. to either side, trim up to 10 deg. fore or aft.
