Radiolocation landing system (RSP-6M2) is designed to regulate traffic on long- and short-range approaches to the landing airfield, as well as for the consecutive withdrawal of aircraft (out of sight of the ground) to the runway of the airfield and control the descent to a height of 150-200 metres in difficult meteorological conditions by sending commands to the crews of aircraft through radio communication stations.
