The portable rail-drilling machine with petrol four-stroke internal combustion engine positively differs from the two-stroke version:
- no need to prepare a petrol-oil mixture;
- higher economy and environmental friendliness, as the combustion chamber of the two-stroke motor is purged with a combustible mixture, which means that a large amount of petrol is wasted;
- the power of the used motor is 20 per cent higher;
The MRS-BM 4T can drill P65 and P75 railway rails as standard, and with additional equipment also P50, narrow gauge rails, tram rails and crane rails KR70.
The device allows the use of core drills up to 36 mm as well as 9.8 or 10.2 mm twist drills. The portable rail drill with four-stroke petrol engine is lighter than any petrol rail drill.
