The cable contains a bundle of optical fibres in a dense buffer coating, which is overlaid with a layer of reinforcing glass filaments and an intermediate sheath made of a polymer composition that does not propagate combustion, halogen-free with low smoke emission. The intermediate sheath is overlaid with a glass-mica tape, reinforcing glass strands and a sheath made of polymer composition that does not spread combustion, does not emit corrosive-active gaseous products during combustion and smouldering, with low toxicity of combustion products. Cable sheath is made of black colour polymer composition resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
Fully dielectric; Resistant to UV-radiation; Retention of fire resistance and serviceability not less than 180 minutes; Convenient for termination (fibres in buffer coating).
