The OMEGA 1 rappelling device is an element of the safety system for work at height. It is a Class A fall arrest rappel device that allows a person to descend at a limited speed, either alone or with the assistance of another person, from a higher to a lower position in such a way as to prevent free fall (e.g.
working on cranes, masts and other places where evacuation may be required). The rappelling device is equipped with a manual rope locking mechanism to prevent free fall.
The design of the device allows several repeated descents if several people need to be evacuated in succession. Cable length: 10 m, 20 m, 30 m, 40 m, 50 m, 100 m, 150 m, 200 m Maximum load: 225 kg (2 persons).
