The tank container for transportation and storage of liquefied natural gas AKTS-SPG42,7 is made of aluminium alloy of 1581 grade. This allowed the tare weight of the product to be reduced by 1,000 kg - to 12.2 tonnes, in favour of increased load capacity.
Other key advantages include increased service life of the structure - 30 years (+10 years compared to analogues), increased reliability due to the use of advanced welding technologies. Technical solutions in terms of fixing the inner vessel allowed to increase its volume up to 42.7 cubic metres (+2.7 cubic metres compared to the existing steel analogues produced in Russia).
In terms of technical and operational characteristics, the tank container surpasses all existing analogues in Russia.
