CND (low-pressure cylinder) rotor is a part of the K-100 turbine shafting and is designed to transmit torque from the high-pressure rotor, connected to it by a semi-flexible coupling, to convert the kinetic energy of the steam flow into torque on the shaft of the low-pressure rotor itself, as well as the transfer of the total torque to the generator rotor shaft, connected to the low-pressure rotor by a rigid coupling.
