Chiller is an industrial machine for cooling liquids. Often water is used for cooling, but a chiller can also cool other liquids. Ethylene, propylene glycol and other solutions that do not evaporate or crystallise at low temperatures can be used as a coolant. Most often chillers are used to cool liquid. Less frequently, they are used to cool other equipment. A wide range of sizes allows to expand the possibilities of chiller application, making it possible to install them in small work shops, private offices and flats.
Chillers are divided into types based on the following parameters:
Method of condenser cooling - air/water cooling;
Operating conditions - standard/high ambient temperature;
Design and construction - chillers with centrifugal fan/remote condenser/monoblock chiller with hydronic module.
